Overview
Renewal is an important mechanism for extending the usage period of cloud services. When your purchased cloud service is about to expire or resources are about to be depleted, renewal allows you to continue using the service and avoid business disruption due to service interruption.
Auto-renewal is a convenient renewal method. Once enabled, the system will automatically deduct fees from your account balance and extend the service period before expiration, requiring no manual operation to ensure continuous and stable operation of your business. By enabling auto-renewal service, you agree to the relevant rules.
Enabling Auto-Renewal
You can enable auto-renewal service through the following methods (specific options may vary by product/service renewal page):
- Check the "Auto-Renewal" option when purchasing resources
- Select resources and set up auto-renewal on the renewal management page in the Billing Center
- Configure auto-renewal in the business console (supported by select services only)
Billing Rules
After enabling auto-renewal, the system will perform renewal operations before the product/service period expires or resources are depleted, with specific timing according to the product's auto-renewal policy. Even if the renewal time is later than the product/service expiration date, the system will ensure renewal is completed on the expiration date.
Auto-renewal supports payment using account balance, and some products may also accept discount offers, vouchers, and cash coupons. If the available account balance is insufficient, auto-renewal will fail, which may lead to service interruption or generate post-paid bills.
The system checks the account balance before resource expiration. As long as the account has sufficient available balance, the system will immediately execute renewal operations for resources with auto-renewal enabled.
