Delete Organizational Unit

Operation Scenario

Enterprise Organization administrators can delete organizational units when they are no longer needed. This applies to the following scenarios:

  • Need to remove unused organizational units
  • Need to simplify organizational structure
  • Need to reorganize the organizational hierarchy
  • Organizational units are no longer required due to business changes

Prerequisites

Before deleting an organizational unit, ensure that:

  • You have Enterprise Organization administrator permissions
  • The organizational unit exists and is accessible
  • The organizational unit does not contain any child organizational units
  • The organizational unit does not contain any accounts
  • You understand that deletion is irreversible

Important: You can only delete organizational units that are empty (no child units and no accounts).

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Bitdeer AI Cloud console
  2. Navigate to the Organization Unit Management page in the Enterprise Organization console
  3. Hover over the organizational unit you want to delete
  4. Click the Delete button that appears when hovering
  5. The system will perform deletion validation:
    • Check if the unit contains any child organizational units
    • Check if the unit contains any accounts
  6. If validation fails, you will see an error message indicating that the unit cannot be deleted because it contains child units or accounts
  7. If validation passes, a confirmation dialog will appear
  8. Review the deletion confirmation and click Confirm to complete the deletion2.1.1 Operation Scenario

  1. Log in to the Bitdeer AI Cloud console
  2. Navigate to the Organization Unit Management page in the Enterprise Organization console
  3. Hover over the organizational unit you want to delete
  4. Click the Delete button that appears when hovering
  5. The system will perform deletion validation:
    • Check if the unit contains any child organizational units
    • Check if the unit contains any accounts
