Operation Scenario

IAM Identity Center administrators can create permission sets to define access permissions for users and groups. This applies to the following scenarios:

  • Need to define specific access permissions for different roles or departments
  • Need to create reusable permission sets for common access patterns
  • Need to configure session duration for different access scenarios
  • Need to manage permissions through permission sets instead of individual policies

Prerequisites

Before creating a permission set, ensure that:

  • You have IAM Identity Center administrator permissions
  • The IAM Identity Center has been enabled
  • You understand the permission requirements and policies to be included
  • You have determined the session duration settings

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Bitdeer AI Cloud console
  2. Navigate to IAM Identity Center in the service menu
  3. Select Permission Set Management to view the permission set list
  4. Click Create or New to open the create permission set drawer
  5. Fill in permission set information:
    • Permission Set Name: Enter a unique permission set name
    • Description: Enter a description
    • Session Duration: Select session duration (1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours) or enter custom duration in minutes (range: 1-12 hours)
  6. Configure permission policies as needed
  7. Click Confirm to create the permission set
