Convert Subscription to Ondemand

Operation Scenarios
This document describes how to convert a subscription instance to an ondemand instance via the console, including conversion rules, operation procedures, and related refund policies.
Prerequisites
- The instance must be in "Running" or "Stopped" status.
- The instance cannot be in "Creating", "Starting", "Stopping", or "Deleting" status.
- The account balance must be sufficient to support the normal activation of ondemand billing.
Operation Steps
- Log in to the Cloud Server Console.
- In the left navigation bar, select "Servers" to enter the cloud server list page.
- Operate according to your current view mode. For more information about views, see "View Instance Information".
- List View: In the operation column of the target subscription instance, click "More > Instance Settings > Convert to Ondemand".

- Detail View: On the target instance details page, click "All Actions > Instance Settings > Convert to Ondemand" in the upper right corner.

- In the "Convert to Ondemand" dialog box, review the conversion details, including:
- Current instance configuration
- Remaining subscription period
- Estimated refund amount
- New ondemand billing rate
- Carefully read the conversion terms and refund policy.
- Check "I have read and agree to the conversion terms and understand the refund policy", then click "Confirm".
- Review the conversion confirmation information and click "Submit" to complete the conversion.

Refund Policy
- When converting from subscription to ondemand, the refund will be processed according to the refund logic. For the specific refund calculation formula, see Refund Instructions.
- If the order contains any unactivated renewal portion, that part of the fee will be fully refunded.
- The actual refund amount is subject to the final system calculation, and the refund will be returned in real time via the original payment method.
